WYSIWYG Web Builder 9.0.1.zip.003

Constructing web pages from scratch using HTML code isn’t a pleasant process, even if you do know what you’re doing. Web pages can be constructed using similar elements to those found in desktop publishing packages: text and images placed in frames and tables on the page, so it’s little surprise that most attempts to make web building a more user-friendly experience focus on providing DTP-style controls for you to use in order to construct your pages.

WYSIWYG Web Builder is no different in this respect: all the page elements you could possibly need are provided as draggable objects on the left of the screen. Drag one on to the blank page, resize it accordingly and then double-click it to control what it does. Dozens of elements are available, from basic text frames, images and simple links to more complicated elements like navigation tabs, forms and even ecommerce buttons.

If the idea of designing from scratch is offputting, then the program supplies a number of templates to get you started quickly, letting you concentrate on your site’s content rather than its design. Everything you need to create your own website is here, with additional elements, such as a plug-in for uploading your site to the web via FTP, available through separate downloads.
